Core Technology Solutions (CTS) has many years experience in assisting Fortune 500 retailers in the deployment of IT infrastructure and equipment to their new store locations with excellent references available.
CTS utilizes mechanized, proven, consistent methodologies and processes which are highly collaborative with all the stakeholders responsible for ensuring the new location is ready for the scheduled grand opening, which has resulted in a perfect record in meeting new store grand opening dates. Although our focus is squarely on the IT environment, many other retailer organizational components i.e. construction, store planning, merchandizing, transportation and finance, as well as other third parties i.e. general, electrical, and fixture contractors have a direct impact on IT's ability to meet the critical grand opening dates. CTS has direct experience interfacing with all these entities to achieve desired results.
The success of any new store IT deployment requires consensus from all stakeholders as to the co-dependent events that must be executed for the team as a whole to win. CTS recognizes this, and goes to great lengths to incorporate the needs of all into a plan that satisfies the IT deployment objectives while facilitating a clean hand off to the site point of contact.
CTS offerings and capabilities range from the installation, cross connecting, and testing of the data/voice cable infrastructure, to the deployment of back room (servers, switches, routers) and front end (POS, workstations, peripherals, wireless hand-held and access points) equipment and voice networks. Our field services are supported by a team of project managers, engineers and resources in our project support center to ensure the complete satisfaction of our clients. We have nationwide partnerships with infrastructure material distributors, equipment and transportation providers that allow for the rapid provisioning and delivery of such things as cable, connectors, patch panels, racks, cabinets, and man lifts to the new store location in support of our crews.
As a representative of the retailer's IT staff, CTS project managers work closely with all involved to ensure maximum productivity while in the execution phase. Over the years many lessons learned have enabled us to anticipate where obstacles may lay in wait, allowing us to meet issues head on before they become cascading delays.
CTS works very closely with our clients staging and configuration organization/partner to ensure that the final installation and turn up steps are executed successfully to ensure all devices are thoroughly tested for proper operation. Our services also include the provisioning of a technician at the store on the grand opening day for support in case of any unforeseen developments. |
